By using MathRoot Academy, creating an account, booking a Math Level Check, enrolling a student, or accessing the platform, parents or guardians agree to follow these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the MathRoot platform or services.

These terms apply to parents, guardians, students, coaches, and anyone accessing MathRoot Academy services.

Parent / Guardian Responsibility

MathRoot is designed for students in Grades 3–8. Parent or guardian involvement is essential.

Parent Responsibilities

  • Create and manage account access

  • Review program recommendations
  • Support student participation
  • Monitor student platform use

Parent Controls

  • Manage bookings
  • Manage communication
  • Manage billing / subscription
  • Request support or updates
  • Review reports and progress

Parents are responsible for ensuring student information is accurate and that students use MathRoot for appropriate learning purposes.

Student Accounts and Age-Appropriate Use

MathRoot student experiences are designed for focused, age-appropriate math learning.

Students should use MathRoot only for learning, practice, assignments, assessments, coaching activities, and platform-supported math work.

Account access should stay within the family account.

Misuse AI tools

AI should be used to learn, not cheat, spam, or disrupt.

Upload inappropriate content

Platform tools should be used only for learning purposes.

Free Math Level Check / Skill DNA Check

The free Math Level Check helps parents understand a student's current strengths, gaps, speed, accuracy, and readiness.

Program recommendations are based on available diagnostic data and may be adjusted as the student continues learning.

Programs, Coaching, and Practice

MathRoot programs are designed around mastery, not simply attendance.

Program Tracks

Foundation 3–4, Mastery 5–6, Pre-Algebra 6–7, Algebra Launchpad 7–8.

Practice

Targeted AI-supported practice based on gaps, mistakes, and readiness.

Coaching

Coaches may review progress and guide learning.

Student progress depends on many factors, including attendance, practice consistency, effort, coaching participation, and starting skill level.

AI-Powered Learning Tools

MathRoot may use AI to support diagnostics, practice personalization, hints, mistake analysis, readiness tracking, and parent-friendly insights.

Disrupting platform use
Tracking mastery patterns
Harmful or inappropriate activity

AI output may not always be perfect. MathRoot uses human review where appropriate, especially for student progress and parent-facing insights.

Section 8

Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing

Paid MathRoot plans may include subscription fees, one-time charges, coaching fees, class fees, or other program-related charges.

Pricing

Plan details should be shown before enrollment.

Billing

Parents are responsible for keeping payment info current.

Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by trusted third-party services.

Any final pricing, renewal, trial, tax, discount, or subscription details should be disclosed during checkout or account management.

Cancellations, Pauses, and Refunds

Parents should be able to manage plan changes, cancellations, or pauses according to MathRoot's billing and subscription rules.

Upload harmful content

No harmful, abusive, or inappropriate uploads.

Abuse platform content

Do not copy, scrape, resell, or misuse MathRoot materials.

Violate laws or rights

Do not use MathRoot for unlawful or harmful purposes.

Learning Content and Intellectual Property

MathRoot content, designs, platform tools, questions, explanations, reports, practice flows, branding, and software are owned by MathRoot or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.

Families may use MathRoot content for personal student learning only. Content may not be copied, resold, redistributed, scraped, published, or used to build competing products without permission.

Reports and Educational Guidance

MathRoot reports are designed to support learning visibility. They are not guarantees of school grades, standardized test results, or future outcomes.

Legal liability limitations should be finalized by counsel.
